Before Ryou could even grasp what was happening he was snatched up by his hair and lifted up onto his shaky feet. A scream passed through his lips, and a moment later he ushered out pleas to the man that could only be the Master's killer.
"P-Please don't k-kill me!" shivering pale digits rose to hopefully disentangle the grasp in his hair. Meanwhile his chocolate colored eyes focused on the blood coated face before him, "Please, I--"
Any further begging Ryou could have produced was cut off when, with a small movement, the killer tossed him to the floor. Ryou let out a pitiful groan and remained on the floor. He was certain that if he didn't obey this man he might end up with a worse fate than his pursuer.
"What is your name?" Ryou looked at the other when the question was hissed; his russet eyes now seemed to take on a darker red to them as they flashed with anger.
"I-I'm Ryou." For a moment the killer kept his harsh gaze focused on the trembling boy before him, but then he turned and began to stalk out of the room as he went the room gradually faded to darkness. Ryou heaved a sigh, greatly preferring the shadows to the killer any day.
"Get your ass moving!" the cave's dweller suddenly snapped, "That fool that you led here probably ruined MY hard earned possessions; you had better clean it up."
Ryou gave a frightened squeak and hurried after him, fearing the consequences of the man's anger. The chair that had been used to barricade the door was now smashed to pieces, and the other chairs were knocked over or out of place.
The mess was quickly disappearing under Ryou's nervous movements, and all the while the killer kept his gaze focused on the young intruder. Suddenly he gave a snort, causing Ryou to drop a piece of the chair; but it was recollected just as fast.
"So, you were accused of theft, huh?" Ryou nodded, afraid that his voice might some how pester the other, and he moved to place the pile of wood in the corner, "You were accused of theft?" He repeated it in disbelief before he burst out laughing, "Fools!" He cried between, "All of them!"
Ryou looked on in confused fear, but he said nothing. Eventually the laughter died down, "How idiotic of them, I wouldn't have thought they'd be stupid enough to think a mere boy to be me!"
He stifled more of his laughter before seeming to notice his guest once more, "So, what will you do now, boy?"
Ryou shifted nervously, his gaze fixed to the floor as he stuttered, "W-Well I-I don't have much choice. They are convinced I committed those crimes. I've got to run away."
"There'll be little hope for you. You will die out there or you will be caught again." The criminal snorted once more, "Either way, you'll be miserable."
Ryou whimpered a little at the thought of being captured once more, and before he could stop himself he was calling out to the man before him, "Please, I don't want to get caught again! Help me!"
The killer's gaze remained steady on the boy, but then he turned and made for his room again, "Fine, I suppose I've always wanted a little servant boy."
Ryou shuffled after him, "So, what should I call you..?" The man paused again, his cold gaze turned to look back at the fugitive boy.
"You really are clueless, aren't you?" The silver haired man snorted and turned away once more, "I'm Bakura." He slowly disappeared into the darkness.
